Have you ever had a hard time discerning what the will of the Lord is? Have you ever worried that you might make the wrong choice? He tells us in James that he will give us wisdom without finding fault if we ask for it. Proverbs 2:6 reads, “For the LORD gives wisdom, and from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.” (NIV). When decision making becomes difficult, if we rely entirely on the Lord and His Word, we cannot fail. With the understanding that comes only from God he promises to guard our course and keep us on the right path. Even though trials may come that will seemingly throw us off course God will protect those who are faithful just as the Bible says in Proverbs 6:8. “…for He guards the course of the just and protects the way of his faithful ones.” (NIV). So walk in the confidence that the Lord provides whenever making choices in your life. Something to think about…
