For those who believe in Christ and His resurrection there is eternal life. What about those who don’t believe? If God is love and He possesses the characteristics of peace, kindness, goodness, gentleness and patience, an eternity without Him would be devoid of these distinctives. If you enjoy love and patience the opposite would be hate and impatience. Cruelty and harshness are the reverse of kindness and gentleness. Finally, goodness would be replaced by evil and darkness would cover it all since God declares He is a God of light. It doesn’t take much to understand and envision an environment without God. The question is who would choose to live without Him forever? More in our next installment of ‘Food for Thought’, but for now it is something to think about...
