Food For Thought

Scripture tells us in Romans 10:15 "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!" (NIV). Have you ever considered why the feet are called beautiful and not the hands or the face? Farmers sow seed right before storms because they know the rain will cause the seed to germinate. When we meet the storms in our lives that rain down trials we will often turn our faces to the ground. In this down cast position we can see the feet of those who are offering hope and help. If you find yourself experiencing trials as an unbeliever, there is hope in the Gospel of Jesus Christ. One day the turmoil will end and joy will be the order of the day. For those who would sow seed before and during the storms of life,...get a pedicure. In other words be prepared, for the words you speak will be food for the soul. As Proverbs 25:11 says, “A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.”(NIV). Something to think about…
