We often make choices based on how we feel rather than turning to God for wisdom. Proverbs 16:25 tells us, “There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death.” (NIV). When things ‘seem’ right we have either the right impression or circumstances ‘look’ good. God has the perspective of knowing what will happen tomorrow. We live in the moment and make decisions based on past experience. If we learn to ask God for even the smallest things, if it is His will we shall have them. Knowing the future God can either bring blessing or withhold disaster if we submit to Him. When faced with various choices in the future ask God, check His Word and believe that whatever the result His hand is in it. Something to think about…
