Do you find it difficult to have a good attitude at work? Do you hold back your best effort? The Bible does not speak directly to the Employer Employee relationship, but it does give guidelines when it speaks of the relationship between slave and master. Titus 2:9-10 says, “Exhort servants (employees) to be obedient to their own masters (employers), to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, not pilfering, but showing all good fidelity, that they may adorn the doctrine of God our Savior in all things.” (NKJV) Furthermore, it must be “with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.” (Eph. 6:5b NIV) When we do these things, we adorn (make attractive) the teachings of God. We must be a good witness in our work for God desires all men to be saved. Something to think about…
